Extension Activities:
    1. Take a walk outside and talk about sights and sounds. Is the air cool? What does snow sound like when you step on it? Is it quiet or loud? Etc.
     2. Write an acrostic poem using the word snow or snowflake.

Join us for a fun kit of ideas for outdoor and nature themed activities.

Extension Activities:
   1. Go for a walk in the snow with your family and make snow angels, talk about which one is tallest, shortest, etc.
    2. Go outside and make a snowman, only use things from nature to complete him. No scarves and hats from inside allowed!

Scientists in School - Eww...that science is gross!

Discover the science behind the things that make you go...eww! Make "snot" and sneeze while exploring viscosity, identify various animals from their scat and lear about digestion while producing a burp in a bag. Join us on a gross fun filled adventure.

Science meets art!

Discover what happens when science meets art! Explore perception as you use shadows, colour, motion and light to create art from science. You'll make a puppet, a spinning top and a kaleidoscope, as well as design your own galaxy!
